ACCOMMODATION

The Hanmer Springs Fete is held at the Queen Mary Hospital Grounds in the heart of Hanmer Springs township and there are many accommodation options in the village. For accommodation we suggest you visit the Visit Hanmer Springs website here.
Don’t forget to help us thank our wonderful partners by talking to them about your accommodation needs:

ACCESSIBILITY NEEDS

There is disabled parking available on the day; this is located in the Hanmer Springs Thermal Pools & Spa head office carpark. Please display your mobility parking permit and come to the Queen Mary Lawn Entrance off Jack Pass Road just past the public toilets.

ANIMALS

Only assistance animals are permitted on the grounds during the Hanmer Springs Fete.

EFTPOS

We will have EFTPOS facilities on site, however bringing cash will make your life much easier. Withdrawals may be subject to a transaction fee and queues are likely to form during busy times.

COME PREPARED

We all hope for a fine day to enjoy the Fete, but due to the event being outside, please don’t forget to prepare for the conditions.
Be sure to bring your sunblock, hat and sunnies (hopefully you wont need your brolly but maybe put it in just in case). Plenty of water is also advised.

ARRANGE TRANSPORT

Getting into and leaving the fete can be busy, make sure you have planned your journeys to ensure they are as easy as possible. Even better, take advantage of our central location and walk from your accommodation to and from the Fete.

FOOD AND DRINK

We have a great selection of food and drink stalls providing a varied selection of scrummy eats and refreshments on the day. However, you are welcome to bring a picnic to enjoy instead. We do not allow alcohol to be brought onto the site, with our Queen Mary Lawn and The Orchard being available should you want a tipple.
